DigiShares, a global leader in white-label tokenization software for real world assets (RWAs), is integrating its primary issuance platform with Injective through a strategic collaboration with Valereum Plc (AQSE: VLRM). This collaboration unites institutional-grade issuance technology, regulated market infrastructure, and decentralized finance liquidity into a single ecosystem designed to streamline the entire lifecycle of digital securities.
Bringing Institutional RWA Issuance to Injective
The integration of DigiShares' tokenization platform with Injective's EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain represents a significant expansion for compliant RWA issuance onchain. Once finalized, this connection will enable assets managed through DigiShares to be minted directly onto Injective's high-performance network, purpose-built for financial applications.
For DigiShares' global client base of approximately 200 asset issuers spanning 40+ countries, this integration provides immediate access to a blockchain optimized for speed, interoperability, and institutional-grade performance. These issuers will be able to leverage Injective's infrastructure, including sub-second block times and ultra-low transaction fees while maintaining the rigorous compliance standards, KYC/AML checks, and cap table management built into the DigiShares software.
Enhanced Secondary Liquidity Through Regulated Infrastructure
The collaboration extends to Valereum's regulated Digital Asset Service Provider in El Salvador, Valereum Markets, which is licensed by the Comisión Nacional de Activos Digitales (CNAD). By aligning DigiShares' technology with a licensed trading venue and Injective's decentralized infrastructure, the initiative aims to provide a comprehensive path for RWA issuance and trading.
This multi-chain strategy ensures issuers can benefit from:
- Seamless Onchain Issuance: Utilizing DigiShares to automate investor communications and corporate actions
- Enhanced Secondary Liquidity: Leveraging Injective's onchain order book and decentralized exchange infrastructure to facilitate transparent, 24/7 trading for qualifying assets
- Institutional Adoption: Attracting professional buy-side participants through market-making initiatives and institutional introductions
The integration taps directly into Injective's native RWA stack, which provides institutions with a compliance-focused solution for launching permissioned asset-backed tokens while maintaining full control over address-level interactions.
Advancing Interoperability Standards
To address fragmentation across digital asset markets, Valereum and Injective plan to join DigiShares in supporting the ERC-7943 interoperability standard, also known as the universal RWA interface. ERC-7943 defines standardized functions for compliance checks, asset restrictions, and administrative controls such as freezing or force-transferring tokens. These features are essential for institutional investors operating under strict regulatory regimes.
By aligning around a shared interoperability framework, the collaboration seeks to ensure that RWA tokens issued through DigiShares and deployed on Injective or traded on Valereum Markets can remain liquid and functional across different blockchain environments, reducing vendor lock-in and improving capital efficiency for issuers and investors alike.
Why This Matters for Injective
Since launching its native EVM mainnet in November 2025, Injective has accelerated its positioning as a leading infrastructure layer for onchain capital markets, combining a high-performance order book, advanced derivatives primitives, and a MultiVM environment with native EVM support. This architecture, together with Injective’s RWA-focused modules, is designed to support regulated financial institutions, tokenization platforms, and exchanges that need deterministic performance and robust risk controls.
With tokenized real-world assets projected by multiple industry analysts to reach between roughly $2 trillion and $16 trillion in value by 2030, and with RWA protocols already representing tens of billions of dollars in onchain collateral and yield-generating assets, infrastructure that connects issuance, regulation, and decentralized liquidity is becoming a core layer of modern capital markets.
The DigiShares expansion to Injective, supported by Valereum Markets’ regulated infrastructure, adds a full-stack route for compliant asset issuers:
- originate and manage digital securities via DigiShares,
- leverage Injective for performant, interoperable onchain settlement and DeFi integrations, and
- access a licensed venue through Valereum Markets for secondary trading where appropriate.
This end-to-end flow strengthens Injective’s broader RWA strategy, which already includes initiatives such as onchain Pre-IPO perpetual futures markets, iAssets for programmable RWAs, and a growing ecosystem of institutional partners building specialized markets on top of Injective. The result is a more complete RWA stack that combines compliance, interoperability, and capital efficiency for issuers and investors worldwide.
