Step 1: Set up a wallet
You'll need a wallet that supports Injective. Popular options include:
Create a new wallet or import one you already have. Write your seed phrase down offline and never share it or your private key with anyone. No legitimate team member, admin or support agent will ever ask for it.
Step 2: Fund your wallet
From an exchange
If you use Coinbase, you can withdraw $INJ directly to your EVM address (the one starting with 0x).
The same goes for other exchanges like @binance and @krakenfx, though some exchanges ask for your native Injective address instead, which starts with inj1.
Your 0x and inj1 addresses belong to the same account. To find your inj1 address, search your 0x address on injscan.com.
Before withdrawing, make sure Injective is selected as the network, and consider sending a small test amount first.
